Wegovy 0.25 mg 1 Pre-filled Pen 1.5 ml contains semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist, approved for chronic weight management in adults with obesity (BMI ≥30 kg/m²) or overweight (BMI ≥27 kg/m²) with at least one weight-related health condition (e.g., hypertension, type 2 diabetes, or dyslipidemia). It is also beneficial in reducing the risk of major cardiovascular events (e.g., cardiovascular death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, or non-fatal stroke) in adults with established cardiovascular disease and obesity or overweight. This treatment should be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. Not recommended for patients under 18 years.
